Chappelli Cycles

Chappelli Cycles’ heritage dates back 50 years to 1960 when Roberto Chappelli, a professional cyclist and engineer with a passion for speed and innovation, designed and handmade his own single speed racing bike to race in the Tour de France trials.

Five decades on Chappelli Cycles, now based in Sydney, is run by Roberto’s son Pablo and his mate Tom. We are passionate about the beauty of vintage bicycles and bringing those design aesthetics into the bicycles today. To that end, we are pursuing Roberto’s vision by designing modern interpretations of the timeless classics of yesteryear available in fixie, single speed, 3 speed or 8 speed internal hub models.

All our bicycles are all uniquely designed piece by piece by Pablo Chappelli in our Sydney design studio. Unlike other online bicycle retailers we don't just source from a single manufacturer based on price. Instead we work with over 15 different suppliers in Taiwan and China to individually source the best components for our range of fixes and internal hub bicycles.
